Roman Baths
The Roman Baths
The City of Bath Lions is the only Lions Club situated in the beautiful World Heritage City of Bath in the English County of Somerset positioned at the southern extremeties of the Cotswolds. Bath is known for its Georgian classical architecture and its development as a Roman city 'Aquae Sullis'. The presence of hot springs and easily worked limestone made it attractive to the Romans who built the original town which flourished for 400 years.

The City of Bath Lions Club was chartered in 1963 as The Bath Lions. The City of Bath Lions Club are always pleased to welcome fellow Lions visiting Bath and anyone who would like to find out more about Lions Clubs International and the local club in Bath.  The Club changed its name (in February 2008) from the Bath Lions Club to its new titla of The City of Bath Lions Club, in recognition of the work it does in the Beautiful City of Bath. The City of Bath Lions Club meets every third Monday of the month at the Lansdown Grove Hotel, on Lansdown Road, Bath at 7.15pm for an 8.00pm start. Visitors are very welcome.
